What is ROMAN™?
The full name of the method is “Microfluidic Sperm Separation Chips”. It is used to obtain healthy sperm, which is necessary for in vitro fertilization, the ICSI and intrauterine insemination treatments applied to the patient are the same, except that the sperm sequence is normally selected by the human eye among the millions of sperm under the microscope. This method is selected by ROMAN™.
In which treatments is ROMAN™ product used?
ROMAN™ can be used in conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF) and Intrastoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) treatments. ROMAN™ has been specially developed and manufactured to meet all treatment methods.

Differences of ROMAN™ from other microfluidic techniques?
• It can be checked with a microscope during the procedure.
• Uncomplicated manipulations, user-friendly.
• Can be used without mineral oil.
• Take approximately 0.3 mL of sperm sample.
• In a 60 mm petri dish, simple incubation.
• Better results in DNA fragmentation and concentrations.
'All roads lead to Rome'
‘All roads lead to Rome’…
The saying “all roads lead to Rome” means that the same result can eventually be achieved even if different ways or methods are followed. The origin of this saying stems from the idea that all roads leading to the city of Rome, which was the center of the Roman Empire in Ancient Roman period, directly or indirectly reached the city. At that time, Rome was the intersection of roads and the center of the empire, so it was thought that no matter where you went, you would eventually reach Rome. Today, this expression metaphorically means “It is possible to achieve the same goal by more than one way or method” or “Different efforts can lead us to the same goal”.
We named our product “ROMAN™” because different but the roads that serve the same purpose lead to the same goal in the same product at the same time.
Where does the name "ROMAN™" come from?

"ROMAN™" Performance Evaluation

In the first performance evaluation of the ROMAN™ product, a model with Density Gradient and the best known microfluidic sperm separation chip was used in the same environment. In the evaluations, concentration, mobility and DNA fragmentation index results were compared. Fertility rates, clinical pregnancy and birth rates will be evaluated with ongoing studies.
