Chip Baby

High success is achieved in pregnancy rates resulting in healthy birth in IVF and vaccination treatments performed with chip baby method.

The method called Chip Baby Treatment is microfluidic systems used in sperm selection in IVF and vaccination treatments (IVF, ICSI, IUI). High success is achieved in pregnancy rates resulting in healthy birth in IVF and vaccination treatments performed with chip baby method.

What are the methods used in assisted reproductive treatments?

IVF (IVF, in vitro fertilisation) treatment is fertilisation performed in the external environment. In other words, it is aimed to fertilise egg and sperm cells by bringing them together in a laboratory environment.

Microinjection (ICSI, intra cytoplasmic sperm injection) treatment is also called microinjection. In this treatment, the sperm cell, which is taken into a very thin needle with the help of a special microscope and devices called micromanipulator, is injected into the mature egg and fertilisation is tried to be achieved.

Vaccination (IUI, intrauterine insemination) treatment is the method called “vaccination” treatment. During the ovulation period of the expectant mother, it can be defined as the sperm sample taken from the father-to-be being cleaned in a laboratory environment and re-ento the uterus.

How does the chip baby method affect success in IVF treatment?

Microfluidiser chip technology, that is, chip baby method, is a method inspired by a process in natural pregnancy. The best sperms in the mother’s womb instinctively compete with each other on microchannels to reach the egg, and the best quality sperm fertilise the egg. In microfluidic chips, the same medium for sperms was created in a laboratory environment using microfluidic biophysics and dynamics.

Sperm selection is of great importance in treatments. The ability of the sperm cell to fertilise the egg for the pregnancy to occur is among the most important conditions.

Microfluidic chips are very simple to use. Likefied sperm sample is used without pre-treatment. In the treatments, the sperm sample taken from the father candidate is passed through the microfluidic chip and the sperms with the best morphology (structure), movement (forward and forward movement) and most importantly DNA (genetics) are selected from the sperms. These sperms are the least exposed to free oxygen radicals. When the treatment with these selected sperms is continued (when trying to fertilise the egg), the probability of obtaining a healthier and better quality embryo compared to the classic sperm selection techniques in the treatments increases significantly.

Chip baby method significantly increases the success in IVF treatment.

It has been scientifically shown that treatments using microchips in many clinical studies improve embryo quality.

The quality embryo increases the likelihood of pregnancy by holding on to the uterus and maintaining its development.

As classic sperm selection techniques in treatment protocols, it has been shown by clinical studies that Swim-Up (up buoyancy) and Densite gradient (separation by weight in high-speed centrifuge) techniques lead to DNA fragmentation (DNA fracture) in sperm. In addition, these old methods are insufficient in sperm samples with high DNA fragmentation.

Microfluidic chips are a superior biotechnological product compared to other sperm selection methods and are easier to use.
